A collaboration with Brad Swartz Architects, we worked together to resolve the residences main challenge – increasing natural sunlight and ventilation throughout the home.

Located in Darlinghurst, Sydney the structure of the residential terrace is an 1861 heritage house.

The contemporary addition of a  skylight designed by Tilt was seamlessly integrated into the architects design, improving natural amenity and adding value to the property.

Our design methodology ensures the large-scale skylight can withstand large wind loads and permitted waterproof integration on the pitched roof.

Tilt’s custom architectural skylight perfectly resolved the main design approach increasing natural sunlight while also providing ventilation and giving the homeowners additional space. A once unused attic into a sun filled room.
