Meet James, Tilt’s Business Development Manager, specialising in product design
James works with Tilt’s new and existing clients, specialising in product design projects for the built environment also founding partner of Neatt – beautiful purposeful furniture for timeless spaces.

His extensive knowledge and complete understanding of the Industrial Design process encourages collaboration with a humanist approach. James has worked in both public and private sectors within signage and wayfinding locally and internationally – his connection to that industry continues today.
James follows the latest industry trends, locally and internationally enabling him to provide specialist advice, he is driven by a collaborative, technical, and customer-focused mindset and thrives on delivering his client’s vision.
Holding a strong business founding background within the Industrial Design industry – In 2012, James founded Field Studio, a signage and wayfinding consultancy.
He has worked with a range of design businesses on projects ranging from small public buildings to the City of Sydney Wayfinding, a Sydney Metro station, and other public precincts.
In 2019 he founded Neatt with fellow Industrial Designer Seaton McKeon, functional furniture design that focuses on Australian materials and craftmanship. See Neatt’s latest collection here.
